Music to My Ears

Anni is a music loving baby! She just bangs away on her musical toys so we gave her a spoon and a bowl to play with this afternoon. It took a second to figure out, but she had a great time once she got it. She was so excited when she first start making noise and just looked at me with a huge grin.

We got a new sippy cup for her at the grocery store today too. This one has a rubber spout that's closer to a bottle nipple. It took a few tries, but she figured it out and drank about 2.5 ounces of apple juice from it. The plan is to just give her juice out of the sippy cup so she doesn't expect to get juice in a bottle. I think it'll be easier to get her to take milk from the sippy cup, when the time comes to make the transition.

She's still a little sick, but getting better. Her cough is lingering and her nose is still runny, but she ought to be fine by the end of the week
